PRODUCT VISION

ZOLO is an AI-powered software that provides a centralised interface for food suppliers to manage their B2B orders and sales with minimal effort.

It allows users (food suppliers) to seamlessly integrate ZOLO with their own messaging apps so that order processing and communication with their customers (restaurants) are all within the same ecosystem.

EXISTING WORKFLOW VS. ZOLO-ENABLED WORKFLOW

Challenge

However, new (and potential) users are unable to navigate this new system on their own. There is there is currently only video tutorials to help them familiarize themselves with this webapp, and when users face difficulties, they contact ZOLO directly for customer support. This has put a strain on ZOLO manpower, and  causes user dissatisfaction due to high cognitive load and low time-to-value gained by users. As a result, this increases customer churn and negatively impacts new user acquisition.

Project Objectives

03

Hence, the main focus of our project is to introduce an onboarding flow that will help ease existing and prospective users into using ZOLO, so that they can self serve.

We are also tasked to identify how to further improve the current user interface.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

How might we improve ZOLO’s on-boarding process so that it diminishes customer support dependence and boost user satisfaction and app adoption?
Research Objectives

04

In order to introduce an onboarding flow that will help ease existing and prospective users into using ZOLO, so that they can self serve, we first had to understand:

1) How B2B food suppliers do to process and manage orders,

2) How ZOLO may integrate with their present workflow

Upon which, we will then

3) Validate our designed solutions through prototype testing.
